Job Description
Brief Overview of Selected Key Job Elements: 
This position requires you to develop and teach courses in digtial content creation for gaming and animation. Courses involve 3D modeling and animation using Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, ZBrush, and game engine editors such as Unreal and Unity and other software in addition to related courses as assigned by the Department Chair.  Knowledge of scripting languages and motion capture technologies is considered a plus
Position Requirements:
  • An MA in Animation, Fine Art or Digital Art is required, an MFA will receive preference.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in the industry and/or three years of teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in contemporary Animation industry hardware and software techniques.
  • Must be able to teach a variety of contemporary Game and Animation related courses.
  • Must demonstrate strong written communication and oral presentation skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and proven effectiveness as a member of a team.
Brief Overview of selected Key Job Elements:
  • Teach contact hours each quarter as designated by the Media Arts and Animation Department Chair.
  • Maintain office hours. Perform other duties for the department as required
