Brief Overview of Selected Key Job Elements:
This position requires you to develop and teach courses in History of Animation, Language of Animation and Film, Drawing for Animation, Image Manipulation, 3-D, Digital Ink & Paint.
A master’s of fine arts degree in Media Arts & Animation or a related field is required.
A minimum of three years' professional experience in the industry and teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
Must be proficient in Nuke, Maya, Mudbox, Cinema 4-D, and the Adobe Design Collection.
Must be able to teach a variety of contemporary Animation related courses
Must demonstrate strong written communication and oral presentation skills.
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and proven effectiveness as a member of a team.
Ability and willingness to work with a diverse faculty and student body.
Brief Overview of selected Key Job Elements:
a. Teach contact hours each quarter as designated by the academic director.
b. Maintain office hours.
c. Participate in ongoing student advising and portfolio advising.
d. Participate in departmental meetings and one college or departmental committee.
e. Participate in curriculum development as requested by the academic director.
f. Attend graduation ceremonies held bi-annually.
